Entrepreneurial Interest as an Antecedent of Entrepreneurial Event Model and Agropreneurial Intention

The Malaysian government has been perpetually encouraging the involvement of youths in agricultural entrepreneurship. Various schemes and programmes have initiated to attract venture into agropreneurship. Unfortunately, youth participation agriculture is still low. Thus, this study aims investigate agropreneurial intention among Malaysia using entrepreneurial event model (EEM) enterprising interest. An online survey was conducted 353 across Malaysia, data collected were analysed SmartPLS 3.3.3. Consistent with theory, all hypotheses are found be significant. First, findings confirmed that interest an antecedent perceived desirability feasibility, while three dimensions EEM positively affect intention. Additionally, feasibility mediate relationship between This contributes scarce literature on agropreneurship, especially context.
